Michele Tornabe was born and raised in New York and spent most of her years as a caseworker for low income and special needs people. She attended a Nazarene mission based church with emphasis on inner city ministry and upon moving to Pennsylvania worked as a para-educator with special needs teenagers, and then becoming the admissions and marketing director at Mt Hope Nazarene Retirement Community.
Michele is passionate about the needs of low income seniors and disabled and embraced the church mission of Grace Point Ephrata Church of the Nazarene that ‘ No Senior Will Go Unserved,” and that all people should be able to receive good quality care regardless of their finances.
Michele became the Administrator at the latter part of 2012 and has helped establish Mt Hope as a Quality 5 star rehabilitation and skilled nursing center. Michele lives in Manheim with her husband Steve and has 4 children, one grandchild and a deep connection to the Christian community at large. She feels that there is no better way to model the love of Jesus Christ then working with the poor and being the Lords feet, hands and heart to the least of these.”
